Is there a way to paste text not on the clipboard, like a computer command to paste the same thing using Ctrl?

Here is what I am getting at.... where I work we have defaults for everything that are quite lengthy, and some of the new people mess it up a lot. Email addresses on default are almost 20 characters, AFTER the .com! I keep thinking there has got to be a better way to go into the computer's controls and somehow make a command where if I were to press Ctrl and 0 I would be able to add 000,000 to a number instead of typing or if I were to press Ctrl Y it would insert the text "Yahoo! Answers" for me. Is this possible and how do I go about doing this?
