Why am I peeing brown?

This morning I peed a dark brown color. It was kind of like my period only it was brown and I am sure I am not on my period. I took 16 corciden pills yesterday or dxm and I also drank a little rum which I know can cause liver failure. Could this be a problem with my liver or kidneys? I also have a headache and a little bit of a fever.
