Is it OK to have a 500 watt RMS and 1000 watt peak amplifier powering 2 400 Watt RMS and 800 Watt peak Subs?

well there is a bunch of shtt behind all of this, but i dont feel like getting into all of it, so yeah sure thats fine, and they will be pounding pretty hard tho. lol
