Xbox 360 Wireless mic doesn't work after getting banned.?

On Monday i was banned for a TOU violation until April 21, which was yesterday. When i logged back on to live yesterday i joined party chat only to find that i couldn't hear my friends. Though they could here me. It still doesn't work today, and it's really annoying not being able to hear people. It's not the mic because it works on other accounts. I've tried re-syncing it and resetting it but it won't work. Please help.
